Unknown to most people, Italian-born Licio Gelli is considered the greatest conspirator of the Century. Gelli is responsible that after World War II the seed of fascism spread through the veins of capitalism, the Catholic Church, and organized crime. A highly secretive and influential freemasonic lodge was his vessel and the CIA his alleged partner-in-crime.

Despite countless criminal convictions Gelli served only five months of his life ‘behind bars’. A private luxury prison that was built to his own specifications. With clove-wearing guards serving as butlers, chefs and servants to Gelli. Another time Gelli evaded justice by escaping from a maximum-security prison in a helicopter. To the ongoing frustration for prosecutors, most other sentences against Gelli were overturned with strange regularity. And if all of this is not enough, Licio Gelli is also known as a poet. Some consider him the ‘Dante of the 20th Century’. Others call him just a ‘fascist Hemingway’, for his first account tales of the Spanish Civil War. A few years ago influential friends nominated Licio Gelli for the Nobel Prize in literature.

Investigative journalist and producer Gabor Harrach managed to conduct several hours of exclusive interviews with Licio Gelli in his fortified mansion in Italy and obtained the rights to his story.
